Review: Good, but way too expensive!
I have been using PSC wraps on and off for a few years. I have not tried any other type of arch support wraps. I have very high arches and need something like this to reduce pronation. When I use the wraps I can walk better with less pronation. And this, in turn, helps my back problems.
That is the good part. What I don’t appreciate about this Fabrifoam brand is that the wraps(especially the foam part underneath)do not last very long. Naturally, the wraps need to be rinsed out frequently. Instructions are to gently soak in very mild detergent and rinse and squeeze gently. After about 3-8 weeks, depending on the care you take with PSC and whether you have several pair to switch off during the week, the foam part deteriorates and strings off,leaving the just the brown part. The foam part is just glued to the PSC, so don’t ever let the PSC soak too long or wash in hot water; the foam will detach sooner. A PSC with just the brown part(and foam falling off) is useless because…
